When Bedtime and Behavior Feel Hard

I help families in Columbus and beyond improve their child’s sleep, understand behavior, and build practical strategies that work in real life.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) & Certified Behavioral Sleep Practitioner (CBSP) in Columbus, Ohio

You know your child better than anyone — but some days parenting feels harder than expected.

Bedtime stretches longer than it should. Meltdowns happen over small changes. You’ve tried routines, consistency, and the usual advice, yet things still feel stuck.

Many families discover their situation needs more individualized support than general parenting guidance can offer.

The SEA Approach

At SEA Behavioral Consulting, my work is guided by three principles:

Science-Based
Grounded in behavioral sleep science and evidence-based parent coaching.

Empathy-Led
Respecting your child’s needs and your parenting values.

Action-Oriented
Practical strategies that work in real life — not just on paper.

Support that’s informed by science, rooted in compassion, and designed for real families.

Sleep and Behavior Support Designed Around Your Family

Every family is different, so recommendations are based on your child’s patterns, your routines, and your parenting approach — not a preset plan.

What to Expect

  • Collaborative planning that respects your values and goals

  • Strategies that work within everyday routines

  • Guidance when adjustments are needed along the way

  • A focus on changes that remain useful as your child grows

  • “Bedtime has become easier and is not a prolonged event.”

“I was overwhelmed, very frustrated, and needing some time back in my evenings. Now bedtime has become easier and is not a prolonged event. Everyone gets time with mom and has their cup filled, so bedtime is much smoother.

We are still working to improve our routine, but I feel like I have the tools I need to make positive changes in the right direction. The first few nights were difficult, but once we established the routine, it flowed much easier.

Tiffany was easy to communicate with and checked in with us regularly. We received exactly what we needed. I just needed a guideline to follow to make bedtime successful and better for everyone.”

    - Sarah F, parent

  • “I finally feel like someone understands what we’re going through.”

“When we first started, I felt like not a lot of people understood what we were going through. From her experience, I could tell she really does understand and knows what to do to help. I actually have hope now that things will improve.”

    -Parent Coaching Client

  • “Bedtime has improved a lot and we’re finally getting a solid routine.”

“Bedtime has improved a lot since we started working with SEA Behavioral Consulting. We’re getting a solid routine and I feel like I know what to do in certain situations now.”

    — Parent of a school-age child with ADHD & autism

  • "We had the wonderful opportunity to have Tiffany working with our family for three years."

“She was an amazing part of our son’s team and always willing to step in to communicate with his other therapists and support his teachers to help our son have the best experience possible. She is neurodiversity affirming, respectful, and always ready to listen!”

    -Donna, Parent

  • “We loved working with Tiffany, and my daughter looked forward to seeing her each week."

“She matched her energy and excitement and was awesome at coming up with hands on learning activities no matter the subject area. She was super patient with my daughter and was always willing to go in a different direction or redirect if needed. She managed it so seamlessly that it made me want to change my approach because she responded so well to her.  My daughter’s communication and social skills improved as Tiffany found creative ways to practice those skills and our family noticed the difference in our day to day with her. We would be happy to recommend Tiffany to anyone.”

    - Shayla, Parent

  • "Tiffany was instrumental in creating programming and behavioral interventions for our daughter."

What she created helped our daughter to learn and progress on her educational goals, activities of daily living, and social skills.  She was able to create an environment for learning and is very patient and has a passion for her work.  She saw our daughter’s abilities and celebrated every bit of progress along the way.

BCBA + Sleep Constulant FAQs

  • I'm one of the only Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) in Columbus who is also a Certified Behavioral Sleep Specialist. This unique combination means I can address both sleep challenges and underlying behavioral factors using evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis techniques, especially for children with autism, ADHD, and other developmental differences.

  • Absolutely! I specialize in supporting both neurotypical and neurodiverse children. My BCBA training and experience with autism spectrum disorders means I understand the unique sleep challenges these children face and can create individualized approaches that traditional sleep training doesn't address.

  • Yes! While I focus on Columbus, Dublin, Westerville, Powell, Delaware, and Central Ohio families, I provide telehealth services nationwide. Virtual consultations are just as effective and allow me to support families anywhere.

  • I work with children ages 2-12 and their families. Most families can schedule their free discovery call within a couple of weeks and their assessment shortly after that.

  • No. My approach is family-centered and respects your values and comfort level. For children with autism or sensory differences, harsh methods can actually be counterproductive. Instead, I use gradual, behavior-based strategies that build positive sleep associations while supporting your child's unique needs.
