Privacy Policy

SEA Behavioral Consulting ("SEA," "I," "me") is a pediatric behavioral consulting practice owned by Tiffany Marrelli, MS, BCBA, CBSP, based in Powell, Ohio. This policy explains what information I collect through seabehavioral.com, how I use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, you can reach me at tmarrelli@seabehavioral.com.

Information I collect

Information you give me. When you sign up for my emails, download a free resource, fill out my contact form, book a consultation, or buy a product, I collect the information you enter. This usually includes your name and email address, and may include your phone number, your child's age, and a general description of what you'd like help with.

Purchase information. When you buy a product, your payment is processed by Squarespace and its payment processors (such as Stripe or PayPal). I see your name, email, billing address, and what you bought. I do not see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, my site collects basic technical information such as your browser type, device, pages visited, and general location (city or region). This is collected through cookies and similar tools from Squarespace and Mailerlite. I use it to understand how people use the site, not to identify individual visitors.

Please don't share sensitive details through the website

My website forms are not designed to hold detailed health or behavioral information. Please share only a general description of your concern through the contact form. We can talk about specifics privately during your consultation. Information from current clients is handled separately, through my service agreement, and is kept confidential in line with my professional and ethical obligations as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

How I use your information

  • To deliver products you purchase and provide receipts

  • To understand how my website is used so I can improve it

  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements

Emails

If you sign up for a free resource or my newsletter, you'll receive occasional emails with parenting, behavior, and sleep ideas, and sometimes information about my services. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

How your information is shared

I do not sell or rent your personal information. I share it only with service providers that help me run my business, and only as needed for them to do that work. These include:

  • Squarespace (website hosting, forms, and online store)

  • Mailerlite (email newsletter and resource delivery)

  • Stripe and/or PayPal (payment processing)

  • Calendly (consultation booking)

  • Google Analytics (website analytics)

I may also share information if required by law, or to protect the safety of a child or another person.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help websites work and measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, such as the shopping cart, may not work properly without them.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for parents and caregivers. It is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through the site, please contact me and I will delete it.

How long I keep information

I keep email subscriber information until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it. I keep purchase records as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email. You can also contact me at tmarrelli@seabehavioral.com to ask what information I have about you, to correct it, or to ask me to delete it. I'll respond within a reasonable time, and some records may need to be kept for legal or accounting reasons.

Security

I use reputable service providers and take reasonable steps to protect your information. No website or email system is completely secure, so I can't guarantee absolute security.

Links to other websites

My site and emails may link to other websites, such as Instagram, Facebook, or resources I recommend. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and I'm not responsible for them.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I'll change the effective date at the top of this page.
